Leeds is a city with plenty of character and history, as well as loads of pubs, bars, restaurants, shops and clubs to keep a hen party busy! Thanks to an abundance of students Leeds is one of the UK’s biggest party towns, and with the Yorkshire Dales on Leeds’ doorstep there are also lots of opportunities to combine a city break with the outdoors. There are also world class museums and galleries within the city as well as innumerable events running throughout the year including the Leeds Festival and the Leeds West Indian Carnival.
- How to get there / transport: Leeds is easily accessible from across the country, with direct trains from London and many other main cities. National Express also run coach services to the city.
- Things to see / do: Royal Armouries Museum, Leeds Art Gallery, Leeds City Museum.
- Nightlife: The city centre's newly developed north side, Civic Quarter and Millennium Square have plenty of upmarket bars and nightspots. Call Street in particular has some great party bars.
- Shopping: The compact city centre has a range of high street names as well as independent stores and boutiques. The Victoria Quarter’s Grade II* arcades are home to some of the world’s leading brands and the Leeds Corn Exchange houses lots of independent stores.
